Daï is an free application for transferring files between any device it can run on, and a phone with a Web browser.
Daj, spoken as [daï:], means give in the Polish language.
Daj is a free application to share files easily from a PC, Mac or a phone.
Just run Daj, pick a file, and answer if the person you want to share with is on the same network.
A QR code will be shown. Show it to the person you want to share with, and they should scan it with their phone and open it.
The file will be opened in their browser.
If you chose yes, the sharing goes through local wifi.
If you chose no, a private cloud server is used and the file is deleted from the cloud when you close the app.
This is a free to use software (freeware). You are free to use it for transferring files, but you are not allowed to reverse engineer it or sell it. The cloud is free for now, the file size limit for the cloud is 8 megabytes. At some point you will have to purchase credits for cloud use. Local-WiFi transfer is always free with no file limit.
Daï is written in Python.
